Members are encouraged to vote online or by post prior to the AGM but a poll will also be held during the meeting. Proxy holders will need to attend the AGM to vote.

Constitution Review

Over the past 12 months we have been working on a review of GrainGrowers’ governance framework. The review has focused on the formal document that establishes our governance framework -our Constitution.

As GrainGrowers has evolved, the current Constitution contains some references no longer in existence, as well as wording around corporate governance practices that needs to be updated.

GrainGrowers engaged Gilbert + Tobin to review the Constitution and to prepare an updated Constitution that is clearer, while not materially altering the basic structure of our organisation.

The proposed Constitution will be presented to members for adoption by way of Special Resolution at the Annual General Meeting on 19 September 2022. We are keen to get any comments or questions in relation to the updated Constitution from members.
