The Board of GrainGrowers comprises of six grower Directors from the Northern, Southern and Western Regions. Nominations are open for two Southern Region Director positions. GrainGrowers' Board Directors hold three-year appointments.

Desirable skills


It would be highly regarded for applicants to have proven track record of success at board or committee level.


You will possess a solid understanding of governance, have an enquiring and strategic mind, and behave in a collegiate manner.


The appointees will be highly motivated to contribute to the growth and development of this dynamic and contemporary member-based organisation.


Other desirable skillsets for consideration include:

  1. Industry policy development and representation
  2. Industry and organisational strategy
  3. Member engagement
  4. General financial acumen

The appointees will be passionate about representing grower views and ensuring the organisation is an effective voice for Australian grain growers.

Key dates:
Applications for the Southern Region Board of Director positions will be open 1 May 2022 to 31 May 2022.

Candidates reference checked and those wishing to stand for election, will be put forward for members to vote on as part of the Annual General Meeting (AGM) process. Voting will be open for GrainGrowers' members during August with the results announced at the GrainGrowers' AGM on Monday 19 September 2022.
