The Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA) has recently announced the review of a number of chemical active ingredients important to agriculture. The APVMA is reviewing critical agricultural (including veterinary medicines used for livestock), biosecurity, and permitted uses of active ingredients before making a proposed decision on the use patterns for these products.
