These days it’s really difficult to avoid a discussion about carbon. Whether you’re buying a car or tractor, choosing your electricity supplier, or even watching a beer commercial, someone wants you to discuss carbon.
After talking with growers across Australia and with some of the early work GrainGrowers has done on this topic it became really apparent that despite so many discussions about carbon and carbon emission, there isn’t a lot of clear information for those of us on farm trying to get our head around it all.
This document is intended to help those with an interest in carbon to build on that knowledge. Most growers want to understand their farm emissions, but it can be hard to get a resource that starts at the basics and tries to unravel what it all means in practical terms.
